While many of you have been watching and talking about some improvements, I wanted to take an opportunity to fill the masses in on all the great things we plan on doing over the next few years.  While we had to take the first two years struggling to survive and cleaning up situations that we were forced to implement to stay alive, the next three years will be our new beginning.  Just some of the improvements to mention a few:

  • 400’ Boardwalk, 10’ wide with marina lighting and 20 4’ docks (40 slips) with solar post lighting for those late night get-away or return.
  • New fence partitions with numbering for Campground.
  • 8-10 Cottages, with names like Blue Goose, Walt’s Landing, Smitty’s, Club 51, Beachcomber, Admiral’s Deck, Lake Breeze & Pier Ballroom, to name a few. These will be located behind the barn, in the primitive section with a fire pit, tables & chairs, and the best part a Covered Pier for fishing or a meal.
  • The Crystal Ballroom Barn will be constructed to hold events and weddings.  With a pontoon adorn with lights, tulle & a “Just Married” banner to send the Bride & Groom on a sunset cruise.  The wedding party may rent the Cottages to sleep off a late-night reception with the Bride & Groom in the Pier Ballroom wedding suite. 
  • New Office with Community room for meetings and smaller events.
  • New Activity Barn with an arcade, pool table, air hockey table, ping-pong table & much more for those rainy days with nothing to do…
  • Bait Vending Machine and fishing pole rentals for those lazy hazy days.
  • Kayak & Board rentals for the more adventurous tourist.
 
 
These are just a few of our plans for the upcoming years.  Once we have secured all of the income producing additions, hopefully it will allow us to proceed on all of our improvement plans for the Mobile Home Park & Campground.  Those include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Pavement throughout both the Campground & Mobile Home Park.
  • Tree trimming & Tree removal
  • New signage at entrance of MHP, Campground, Marina in brushed steel.
  • Street signs in MHP & Campground.
  • Boxwood Shrubbery along channel bank on Mobile Home Park side.
  • Cable wire fence to contain entrance to Boardwalk & step entry.
  • Covered docks located at the entrance of the channel, by the landing.
  • Jet Ski docks located beyond the landing.
  • Landing Repair of concrete.
  • Drainage resolution for flooding areas.
 
While this is all subject to change as new ideas and new options become available, this is our vision of the future.  We welcome comments, concerns & resources to accomplish our goals.   The future is bright….

    •My father Fred Bair loved Buckeye Lake, everything we do to improve the quality of life at the Park is dedicated to his generous life.  He was a good man and truly cared about people and Buckeye Lake.
    •We have a full-service Marina with a 10’ Boardwalk that will run 400’ down the channel, it will have solar pole lighting and seating for fishing with several docks which will bode solar cap lighting, both covered and uncovered.  We offer winterization & shrink wrap prior to storing on our on-site location.
